JACK DEUBNER
PRODUCER, ENGINEER, GOOD HANG
Jack Deubner has been writing, recording, and geeking out over music for as long as he can remember. He joined the Transient Sound team in the fall of 2024.
Hailing from suburban St. Louis, Jack started learning how to play guitar at the age of 11 and started recording his own compositions shortly thereafter.
Infatuated with the idea of creating music and figuring out how all of his favorite records got to sound like that, Jack attended Hope College in 2017 and studied Recording Arts. During his time studying the inner workings of analog gear and Pro Tools, he fell in love with the unique atmosphere a recording studio evokes. He interned at various studios across the country, most notably Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
Alongside this, Jack prides himself on his broad experience with various genres, having hosted countless hours of radio shows during his time at Hope and volunteered for independent stations in St. Louis and Chicago. Jack has grown incredibly comfortable recording a wide variety of instruments in a vast range of styles at Transient. He’s more than excited to record that one song you think might be “too weird” and can promise you he’s heard weirder.
Outside of Transient you can catch him finding new restaurants around the city, riding the CTA, and producing his own music under his Loop Detail moniker and alongside his bandmates in Caused by Carelessness.
He is beyond thrilled to be alongside such professionals at Transient, and can’t wait to help you achieve your perfect sound.
